Landline Telecom can provide WiFi improvements and upgrade your WiFi
I have many years experience as a WiFi technician / WiFi engineer with both home and business WiFi systems. From improving Wifi round the home to a complete system for your business premises including guest access if required
I have installed WiFi for pubs restaurants and cafes, care homes, office WiFi, B&B and holiday accomodation, large barn conversions, houses of all sizes, garden offices, garden rooms, remote buildings and farms, caravan sites plus many others.
(laptops, iPhones, Smart TV, Playstation, Xbox, Alexa, Google Hub etc)
This can have the effect of slowing internet connection down just when you need to watch that programme on iPlayer or halfway through that Teams meeting.
Smart TVs will work wirelessly but if they are some way from your router they can be prone to constant pausing and buffering
You can then plug into an Ethernet socket instead of relying on your wireless connection
I can also supply and install Mesh WiFi systems which reduce the need for extra cabling.
I can also install:
External WiFi aerials – To extend your WiFi to the garden / Farmyard / Warehouse yard etc
WiFi access points for pubs, hotels, cafes, holiday cottages etc
Guest WiFi portals – to direct users to your website for instance
WiFi networks for campsites etc
Set up guest networks to limit download usage
Secure guest networks to keep your information safe
Resolve WiFi dead spots in your premises
Multiple access points for larger areas
Yes – there are WiFi extenders available on the internet –
Yes – they seem fairly cheap and look like they will do the job…
No – they don’t very often work !!! – Many of my customers buy these then call me after weeks of fruitless fiddling and having wasted a lot of money…

Holiday Cottage WiFi
Holiday cottage WiFi solutions in Derbyshire and Staffordshire
Most holidaymakers now demand a good WiFi connection in their holiday home. it has become as important as all the other services. Guests can look up details of local attractions, watch videos online, use WiFi calling, as well as check their accounts and of course, Facebook etc… Often the 4g connection in the countryside is very poor so a good WiFi connection is deemed necessary for many reasons.
Some holiday home owners are happy to share their own internet connection with the holiday home guests. If the cottage is within line of sight then this is easy to set up and relatively inexpensive.
Alternatively I can provide a separate line and broadband just for the holiday cottage, often at a cheaper rate than the likes of BT. Give me a call or email for more information and prices
